Block more. Wear it like you mean it.

The Amber Vintage Glass is for the people who take their evenings seriously. A full-spectrum blue and green light blocker in a vintage-inspired frame, these glasses go beyond basic filtering — they create a warm, low-stimulation visual environment that signals rest to your nervous system. Worn from sunset onwards, they become part of a wind-down ritual that's both functional and intentional. Because optimising your sleep shouldn't mean compromising on how you look doing it.

The lens — CR39 facts
  • Lightest optical-grade plastic available. CR39 is the material of choice in premium optics — half the weight of glass, with an Abbe value of 58, which means virtually zero chromatic distortion. You see clearly. The lens does its job invisibly.

  • UV400 protection — total spectrum coverage. Blocks 100% of UVA and UVB rays up to 400nm. That means full protection from the ultraviolet light that causes long-term eye damage, regardless of whether you're indoors or out.

The amber tint — science facts
  • Blue light is the most potent disruptor of your circadian rhythm. Of all visible light wavelengths, blue light has the strongest effect on melatonin suppression — it is the most potent portion of the visible electromagnetic spectrum for circadian regulation. Amber lenses are specifically designed to block this range. ResearchGate

  • Worn for 2 hours before bed, amber lenses improve sleep measurably. In a randomised controlled trial, wearing amber blue-light-blocking lenses for 2 hours before bedtime over 7 consecutive nights significantly improved sleep quality, soundness of sleep, and total sleep time compared to clear lenses in individuals with insomnia symptoms. ScienceDirect

  • Up to 30 extra minutes of sleep per night. A Columbia University Medical Center study found that amber-tinted lenses worn two hours before bedtime helped participants gain an extra 30 minutes of sleep compared to clear lenses, with self-reported improvements in sleep duration, quality, and reduction in insomnia severity. American Optometric Association

  • Not all blue light glasses are equal — tint matters. Research shows that many glasses marketed as "blue blockers" with clear or near-clear lenses provide only modest changes that are not physiologically significant for circadian health. Amber tints with high melanopic filtering density are required for meaningful sleep and circadian benefit. Ours are amber for a reason. PubMed Central

A different vision, Real Impact.

Another nighttime shift to transform the way you rest at night.

All our CR39 Amber lenses undergo controlled, supervised testing to ensure efficient blue light filtration. Honest manufacturing is essential to us. If you wish, request the laboratory report, and we will confirm that the quality reaches your door.

Be aware that our glasses ARE NOT prescribed.

We also recommend you read these guidelines:

  • Use amber blue-light glasses primarily for evening screen use and close-up work; avoid wearing them during daytime outdoor activities when natural light perception and color discrimination need to be accurate.

  • Test our amber-tinted lenses before committing to their daily usage: heavier tints block more blue light but increase color distortion and can reduce visibility in low-light conditions.

  • Don’t use amber glasses while driving, cycling, or operating machinery—distorted perception of traffic lights, brake lights, and dashboard indicators can create safety risks.

  • Be cautious with nighttime outdoor navigation (walking on uneven surfaces, stairways): amber tints can reduce contrast and depth perception, increasing trip/fall risk.

  • If you rely on color-coded information at work (medical readings, electrical wiring, data visualizations), remove amber lenses when interpreting those colors.

  • For mixed-use days, keep a clear pair of glasses or a no-tint option available to switch into when accurate color perception is needed.

  • Consider alternatives when color fidelity is important: software-based night modes, adjustable warm-light settings, or screen filters that reduce blue light without strongly altering colors.

  • Teach children and others who use amber glasses about situations where they should remove them (playing outside, sports, crossing streets) to avoid safety hazards.
